SINGAPORE - Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates and Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) operating hours will be reduced from May 30 to June 28 in line with the June school holidays.
Drivers can expect a decrease in rates by as much as $1 for selected expressways and roads, such as Lorong 6 Toa Payoh and the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) towards the city. Rates for the other gantries remain unchanged.
Gantry prices will return to the pre-school holiday rates from June 29. The next ERP rate review will be in August.
During this period, VEP operating hours will end earlier at 12pm on weekdays, instead of 5pm. Drivers of foreign-registered cars and motorcycles are exempted from VEP fees if they enter Singapore after 12pm and leave before 2am the following day. VEP fees remain unchargeable on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Motorists will still allowed a maximum of 10 VEP-free days per calendar year
