Certificate of entitlement (COE) prices ended higher across the board at the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday.

The premiums for Category A cars up to 1,600cc and 130bhp rose slightly by 1.45 per cent to $62,890.

Premiums for larger cars above 1,600cc or 130bhp inched up by 0.2 per cent to $65,001, while Open category COEs climbed by 3.2 per cent to $65,002.

Motorcycle premiums rose by 6.3 per cent to $4,252, while commercial vehicle COEs registered the largest jump - a 19.9 per cent rise to $52,010.

With the monthly COE supply for commercial vehicles set to shrink by 33 per cent from next month, observers had tipped commercial vehicle premiums to rise.

The three-month quota from next month to October will also see more COEs for cars overall, though there will be fewer COEs up for grabs in the Open category.
