Changi Airport's liquor and tobacco stores are getting a major facelift that will make them bigger and better.
As part of upgrading works that will span across all three terminals, travellers can look forward to new double-storey stores as well as more product choices, said DFS Group which runs the stores.
In a joint release with Changi Airport Group on Wednesdsay, DFS, which also has outlets at other airports including in Hong Kong and Japan, said the Singapore store will offer travellers a unique experience.
At the Terminal 3 store for example, Raffles Hotel will set up its legendary Long Bar - where the Singapore Sling cocktail was invented in the early 1900s. There will also be a lounge for DFS members - the first for any airport. The works are expected to start soon and will be completed in 2016.
