*A 54-year-old woman was killed in her third-floor flat at Tampines Street 43, and an 80-year-old man, believed to be her father-in-law, has been arrested.

*A power fault caused a nine-hour train service disruption on the North-East Line, service to Sengkang resumed at 840am, service between Sengkang and Punggol resumed at 3pm.

*Popular nightspot Zouk can remain at its current Jiak Kim Street location till at least the end of next year after it got an extension on its lease which expires on Dec 31 this year.
