SINGAPORE- A scene out of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie came alive for a class of kindergarten pupils on May 14.
"Spider-Man" and villain Rhino had a short battle, which of course Spiderman won.
The purpose of the drama - all to celebrate the sixth birthday of one of the pupils in the class, Zeyrian Suhaimi.
It would be the last birthday Zeyrian would spend with his classmates before graduating this year. "Spider-Man" was none other than his father, a fact that the boy himself did not know till the end of the day.
A video on Facebook of the drama and the rest of Zeyrian's birthday with "Spider-Man" in tow has gone viral, with almost 290,000 views and almost 10,000 shares in five days.
The video, which lasts 5-1/2 minutes, shows Zeyrian first getting surprised while in kindergarten, then cutting a birthday cake, and going on to take public transport and buying toys, with his father dressed as Spiderman the whole time.
The video showed several amused and excited onlookers. At the end of the video, "Spider-Man" asks the boy where his father is, and he says that his father always works late.
He also said: "I love you Spider-Man, because you're my hero."
"Spider-Man" then removes his mask to reveal himself. Watch the video to see what happens.

Several people commended Zeyrian's parents for going the extra mile to make their son's birthday special.
In an email interview with The Straits Times, Zeyrian's parents Suhaimi Latiff, a media producer, and Julia Jemangin, who is in the corporate communications industry, said they gave their son the surprise so that when he grows up, he would have a pleasant time looking back at his kindergarten days.
Mr Suhaimi was inspired by other videos of fathers surprising their sons in the Spider-Man outfit.
The surprise did not however happen overnight. Mr Suhaimi had to train for six months as the Spider-Man costume is skin-tight, and the full face mask is not easy to breathe through.
His training involved boxing for stamina and balance so he could crouch just like Spider-Man, and he lifted weights to gain muscle, while he ran for a leaner body and stronger lungs.
He was also strict with his diet, eating mainly fish soup and fruits.
As part of the arrangements for Zeyrian's birthday to be celebrated in his school, they also had the teachers screen the video clip of the scene that Mr Suhaimi and his brother Luqman partly acted out.
The video was taken by Ms Julia, and was a family effort as Mr Suhaimi's family also helped out.
When asked how Mr Suhaimi kept his identity secret from Zeyrian while talking, the couple said that the method of communication was whispers and gestures.
When the boy got suspicious, Mr Suhaimi adopted a husky voice as a disguise.
The couple, who have three other children, a daughter aged four and a pair of identical twin boys aged three, said that that despite the high benchmark they have set for themselves and other parents, there is no pressure.
"Small or big, they always look at us as their heroes, with or without the mask," they said.
