SPH magazines win big at International Corporate Media Award 2014

SINGAPORE - Singapore Press Holdings magazines The Peak, Nuyou and SilverKris have won a total of seven accolades at an international award ceremony for corporate media.

The SPH magazines beat entries from around the world at the annual International Corporate Media Award based in Germany.

Luxury magazine The Peak bagged a silver, two bronzes and two awards of excellence for its special publications.

The Peak Selections: Gourmet & Travel, a dining and travel guide for high-net worth individuals, won four awards - two Bronzes for photography, and two awards of excellence for Alternative Storytelling.

The Peak 30/30 The Game Changers won a silver in the books category.

The title of the book, 30/30, plays on the term "20/20 vision" for visual acuity and 30 years of The Peak.

The 240-page publication pays tribute to 30 men and women, documenting their success stories - a feature that The Peak has become well known for, having chronicled success stories since its inception three decades ago.

SilverKris, the travel magazine of Singapore Airlines, was awarded a Gold award for business to client magazines.

The inflight magazine has won numerous awards before for its rich content, with the latest information on travel trends, stylish getaways as well as insider recommendations for holidays.

Nuyou was recognised with an award of excellence for its front page.

Nuyou is the leading fashion and beauty magazine for bilingual career women. It is arguably a favourite Chinese-language read for trendy women in their 20s and 30s.
