SINGAPORE - The Singapore Land Authority will release, from Sept 1, 23 editions of historical street maps that date between 1954 and 2009.

The maps will be available to the public in downloadable image form from the national map website, OneMap.sg.

The public can use this street-map data to generate visualisations that chart how Singapore has changed and grown over the years.

SLA chief executive Vincent Hoong said: "We hope the public will find these maps useful. We encourage Singaporeans to generate interesting geo-visualisations of Singapore's development over the years to commemorate SG50."
