A career soldier from the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) was found dead in Nee Soon Camp at 8.15am on Friday morning.

In a statement, the Ministry of Defence extended its deepest condolences to the family of the late serviceman and said that it is "assisting the family in this time of grief".

Police confirmed that a report has been lodged and that investigations are ongoing.
