SINGAPORE - A delegation from the Kuwait-Singapore Parliamentary Friendship Group, led by its Chairman Dr Khalil Abdullah Ali, called on Senior Minister of State (SMS) for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs Masagos Zulkifli on Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

SMS Masagos reaffirmed the friendly relations between Singapore and Kuwait, and stressed the need for both countries to cooperate for mutual benefit, as both are small states.

Dr Khalil also welcomed SMS Masagos' visit to Kuwait this year to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties.

Dr Khalil will also call on Speaker of Parliament Halimah Yacob and be hosted to lunch by Member of Parliament and co-Chairman of the Parliamentary Friendship Group Zainudin Nordin on Friday.
