SINGAPORE - The Royal Malaysian Air Force chief, who is on a farewell visit here between Aug 6 and Aug 8, called on Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen, the Defence Ministry (Mindef) said in a statement on Thursday.
General Rodzali Daud had earlier called on Chief of Defence, Lieutenant-General Ng Chee Meng, and Air Force chief, Major-General Hoo Cher Mou, during his visit.
The visit of General Rodzali "underscores warm and long-standing defence ties between Singapore and Malaysia", Mindef added.
Both air forces have interacted regularly, during multi-lateral military exercises such as Exercise Bersama Lima last year. They also conduct maritime security air patrols in the Straits of Malacca.
