Priority in queues given to elderly, pregnant and the disabled paying respects to Mr Lee Kuan Yew

SINGAPORE- The elderly, the pregnant and the disabled paying their respects to Mr Lee Kuan Yew have priority in the long queues leading to the Parliament House, which started forming on Wednesday.

They can approach staff on the ground for assistance.

Mr Lee's body is lying in state at Parliament House. It was announced on Wednesday afternoon that the public will be able to pay their respects to Mr Lee round the clock daily till 8pm on Saturday.

MRT train services will also run for 24 hours on Wednesday, so the public can travel to pay their respects to Mr Lee.

There will also be 41 feeder bus services serving the residential towns operating non-stop tonight.

The authorities announced that the waiting time to pay respects to Mr Lee was about 5 hours on average on Wednesday evening.
