PM Lee to attend Asean Summit in Myanmar over the weekend

NAYPYIDAW: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will attend the Asean summit from Saturday to Sunday in Myanmar's capital of Naypyidaw.
He will be accompanied by Trade and Industry minister Lim Hng Kiang, and Law and Foreign minister K. Shanmugam, a statement from the Prime Minister's Office said.
The Asean leaders will discuss progress in community-building efforts towards the establishment of an Asean Community by next year, and exchange views on regional and international issues, the statement added.
They will also meet representatives of the Asean Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), civil society organisations and Asean Youth.
