KUALA LUMPUR - Speaker of Parliament Halimah Yacob met members of the Singapore community in Malaysia on Thursday, the second day of her three-day official visit to Kuala Lumpur

The meeting took place at a reception hosted by the Singapore High Commission.

Madam Halimah had met Malaysia's Parliamentary Speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia on Wednesday, the day she arrived in the Malaysian capital.

She is accompanied by four MPs - Mr Baey Yam Keng, Dr Lim Wee Kiak, Dr Intan Azura Mokhtar and Ms Tin Pei Ling, said the Clerk of Parliament in a press statement.
