New Paper launches all-in-one news package, subscribers can win a Harley Davidson bike

SINGAPORE - Three weeks after The New Paper (TNP) launched its iOS and Android apps, readers can now get an all-in-one package.

For $24.10 (excluding delivery charges), subscribers can get access to TNP's print edition, as well as its online and smartphone platforms. The digital offering includes the new TNP interactive ePaper.

There have been more than 20,000 downloads of TNP's iOS and Android apps so far, topping the iTunes Free Apps chart and achieving Top three placing in the Android Free Apps chart. The free trial for both apps end at midnight on Monday, after which only the daily news summaries and digital-only stories will remain free for all to access.

Besides the all-in-one package, other subscription options are the print package ($20.10 monthly, exclusive of delivery fee), the online only package ($22.10 monthly) and the smartphone package ($22.10 monthly). To subscribe, readers may go to www.tnpsub.sg or call 6388 3838 between 8.30am and 6.00pm on weekdays.

From now to July 27, subscribers will also be entered into a draw to win a 2013 Harley Davidson Sportster Seventy-Two XL1200V worth $27,000 (without COE and insurance). Those who sign up for a one-year subscription plan will also get either a pair of Monster NCredible N-Ergy In-Ear headphones or a Lomo Konstrucktor DIY Kit as a free gift. Readers who sign up for a two-year subscription can choose between a pair of Monster NCredible N-Tune On-Ear headphones or a Sony Smartwatch 2.

"Now, for just over $20 a month, they can get The New Paper delivered to them in print and digital, complete with our Noon edition digital updates," said TNP editor Dominic Nathan. "With the free gifts on offer right now, it's a very good deal."
