Mr Lee Kuan Yew's State funeral by the numbers

SINGAPORE - More than 1.5 million people paid their last respects to Mr Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore's first Prime Minister, during the mourning period, said the State Funeral Organising Committee.

As of 10pm on Saturday, 454,687 people had visited Parliament House, where Mr Lee had been lying in state since Wednesday.

About 1.1 million people visited the 18 community tribute sites set up around Singapore.

Here's a look at the numbers over the last six days:

- 1.1 million people visited the 18 community tribute sites as at 11am on Sunday

- 454,687 people turned up for the Lying in State at Parliament House. An average of 6,500 visitors walked through per hour.

- About 170 foreign dignitaries from about 27 territories and international organisations turned up for the lying in state at Parliament House

- 125,450 condolence cards issued at Parliament House, as of 10pm on Saturday

- 362 tents set up for lying in state

- About 2,000 barricades set up for lying in state

- About 1,020 volunteers involved in entire operation

- 21,580 sent feedback via hotline and e-mail

- At its peak, 8,300 people were watching the 'live' online streaming for the special Parliamentary session on Thursday that paid tribute to Mr Lee

- About 9,000 people tuned in to the 'live' streaming for the Lying in State at its peak

- Almost four million were reached via the official Facebook page

- The official Facebook page received 240,924 'likes'

- 40,252 tributes were submitted via the official Facebook page, e-mail and website

- There was an average of 312,822 unique visitors on the website every day

- The total number of tweets which contained the term "Lee Kuan Yew" in the last seven days: 320,000
