SINGAPORE - Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Lawrence Wong whetted sports fans' appetite by posting a sneak peek of the upcoming South-east Asia (SEA) Games opening ceremony online on Monday.

In a video answer to questions about the SEA Games on his Facebook page, he said that there will be some "surprise elements" in the opening ceremony on June 5.

"I think we are going to see some special elements with our former athletes, with some special guests... I shouldn't say anymore as I really want to keep some things under wraps," Mr Wong said.

The video included about 30 seconds of footage from the opening ceremony rehearsals.
