SINGAPORE - The imminent demolition of the 42-year-old Golden Bridge in Shenton Way will spell the end of a Central Business District (CBD) landmark known as the "pedestrian-cum-shopping bridge".

This will leave just three overhead bridges incorporating retail shops remaining in Singapore - OUE Link, which connects Raffles Place to the new Marina Bay Financial District, the overhead crossing between shopping malls Bugis+ and Bugis Junction, and the Admiralty bridge at Woodlands Ave 7.

Formerly known as Change Alley Aerial Plaza, OUE Link is now lined with numerous retail shops and F&B outlets.

Bugis+, which was previously known as Iluma, had a link bridge with a few retail outlets that did not connect to Bugis Junction. The two malls were later linked directly when Iluma was renamed in 2012.

The Admiralty overhead bridge, which is linked to Admiralty MRT station, manages to squeeze in a row of sundry stores where residents can shop for groceries.

Check out the gallery above for photos of the bridges.
