SINGAPORE - New smartphone app OneService provides a new platform for Singapore residents to give feedback to the authorities on municipal issues.
The public can send their feedback about damaged signs, cleanliness, pest sightings, fallen trees and much more using the app. The complaint will be routed to the relevant authority automatically.
This is not the only mobile app out there from government agencies. From tracking calories and bus arrival times, to locating clinics and Singapore missions overseas, here are some free apps you may find useful.
ACRA on the go by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority

The app lets users look for details of Singapore-registered businesses from Acra's database. It includes an AGM calculator for company owners to check the last possible date of a company's next annual general meeting, and a mobile version of Acra's online inquiry service.
ActiveSG by Sport Singapore

Launched last year, the app lets the public book sporting facilities and sign up for sports programmes. Registered users of the ActiveSG movement get $100 in credits to pay for entry to swimming pools and gyms managed by Sport Singapore, and to offset the cost of exercise classes like yoga, Zumba and kickboxing. The credits are stored in an eWallet on the app. It also acts as a virtual ID for entry into sports complex facilities.
iDAT by Health Promotion Board

Launched in October 2011 by the Health Promotion Board, iDAT stands for interactive Diet and Activity Tracker. It helps users count their calories and better manage their health. The app has the nutritional information of local food and beverages, such as bandung, nasi lemak, chilli crab, and chendol.
MFA@SG by Ministry of Foreign Affairs

To register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) before an overseas trip, you can now use their app. Basically an extension of the MFA's e-services on the smartphone, it also lets users locate Singapore overseas missions, check travel notices and look up consular information such as visa requirements for Singapore passport holders.

Users can also search electrical appliances and how energy efficient they are, and locate recycling facilities in Singapore.
mySCDF by Singapore Civil Defence Force
