SINGAPORE - The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) rescued a 39-year-old man who was stuck on a crane at a construction site in Whampoa East on Tuesday morning.
The man, believed to have been operating the crane, felt too weak to continue with his work or descend from the crane.
A call was made to the SCDF at 10:21 am. When the rescuers arrived, they secured him with a harness and lowered him to the ground with safety lines. He was not found to be injured.
The rescue effort, which lasted for about an hour and a half, ended with the man being brought to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
