SINGAPORE - Climbing activities at the indoor rock-climbing facility in Kallang Wave Mall have been suspended, said its operator.

Climb Central said in a Facebook post on Monday night that "due to some unfortunate circumstances with the glass ceiling above our climbing facility (sic) all climbing activities have been stopped till further notice".

The Straits Times understands that cracks have been found in the glass ceiling just above the facility in the mall which is part of the $1.3-billion Singapore Sports Hub.

The 41,000 sq m mall, which first opened its doors some four weeks ago, houses Singapore's tallest indoor rock-climbing facilities, managed by Climb Central.
