Body found at East Coast Park beach on Saturday morning

SINGAPORE - The body of a man in his 60s was found at East Coast Park beach on Saturday morning.

Police said they found the man lying motionless near carpark C2 of the park.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that they received a call for assistance at 7.24am. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Shin Min Daily News said that the beach was cordoned off, and a blue tent was erected on the beach, about 5m from the shore line.

Police are investigating the unnatural death.
