SINGAPORE - Around 50 people evacuated the Tan Chong Tower on Saturday night when a fire broke out there.
According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), it received a call for a fire incident at 15 Queen Street at 9.08pm. A fire had broken out at a third-floor unit of the condominium. The SCDF said it involved "part of a portion of a wall in the unit, measuring 30cm by 1m". It was extinguished by a water jet and internal sprinkler system, and no injuries were reported. Before the SCDF arrived, about 50 people evacuated themselves.
