SINGAPORE - About 33,000 local households will be surveyed by the Manpower Ministry from May 23 to July 21.
They will be asked about their employment situation and other economic characteristics, information which the Government will use for planning manpower-related policies. Households chosen for the study will be notified by post.
Survey participants can take part by accessing the Manpower Survey Online System. They can also provide information through the survey hotline (6317 1009) from 8.30am to 5.30pm on weekdays.
MOM staff will visit the homes of those who cannot be reached by phone.
