Singapore - The housing board is ramping up the implementation of the Electronic Parking System (EPS) in HDB carparks, it said in a press release Thursday.

The HDB says EPS will be installed progressively at all car parks, where there are no site constraints, over the next few years

Out of the existing 1,800 HDB car parks, 610 currently use the EPS. It will be installed in 300 more carparks in the first half of next year. This means that by the first half of next year, one in two HDB carparks will be using the automated system.

HDB also said it has extended real-time car park lot availability information to the public, via the Mobile@HDB App and public data sharing portals.
