Drop by this weekend's Health & You exhibition - and you may even bring home more than just health knowledge and free samples.

Shoppers who spend at least $30 at the yearly health extravaganza stand a chance to win $500 cash each. Six winners will be picked in a lucky draw.

The Health & You exhibition, in its 10th year, is jointly organised by Mind Your Body and Lianhe Zaobao Lohas. It takes place today and tomorrow at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

For the first time, visitors get a booklet of coupons, offering deals not only at the event, but also savings at retail shops after the event ends. It comes with a sample pack of supplement Black Gold Black Garlic and a thermos flask.

Designed around a school theme, the exhibition spans three halls which are categorised into four sections:

1. RECESS ZONE

When the chime of the school bells signal recess, most students would make a beeline for the canteen. Here, you can whet your appetitite by sampling food products and stock up on organic food, health supplements, and beauty and natural personal care items. Who knows? You can pack these for a little one's recess on Monday.

2. CCA ZONE

Test your fitness levels at the mini National Physical Fitness Award Fitness (NAPFA) Circuit. The five fitness stations may be familiar to some- sit-ups, standing broad jump, sit and reach, inclined pull-ups and the shuttle run. Whatever your results may be, these can hopefully jumpstart an exercise regimen.

3. TUITION ZONE

Singapore has been called the "tuition nation". In this zone, you can attend free seminars and talks. Pick up healthy eating tips from dietitians, learn about common eye conditions- cataract, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy- and neck, back and knee pain from doctors. Participants of The Straits Times Run at the Hub can also learn how to prepare for a marathon and note their nutritional needs during races.

4. PLAYTIME ZONE

Let your hair down after school by heading to the crafts corner, where you can dabble in activities such as sand-art making, colouring and drawing and a variety of ball games.

The guest-of-honor is health minister Gan Kim Yong.
