Liver Cancer Clinic now a one-stop centre for patients undergoing treatment

SINGAPORE - Liver cancer patients will find it easier and more convenient to go for their various medical appointments with the new Comprehensive Liver Cancer Clinic at the National Cancer Centre of Singapore.

The complex nature of the disease means the patients have to see specialists from various disciplines, such as surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, nuclear medicine to name a few.

As a result, they need to travel between the Cancer centre and the adjoining Singapore General Hospital. With the various specialists now housed at the same location, they no longer need to do so.

Said Professor Soo Khee Chee, head of NCCS: "We are continually looking into ways to improve our services for patients."
