SINGAPORE - Two more suspects have been arrested by the police for their alleged involvement in the murder of a 47-year-old Malaysian at the multi-storey carpark in Pearls Centre.

The two men, aged 20 and 22, were arrested in Malaysia and extradited to Singapore on Tuesday.

On the same day, two other Malaysians were charged in court with the murder of Mr S. Krisnan Value.

Mr Krisnan's body was found lying on the 11th floor of the building in Eu Tong Sen Street on Sunday.

The pair who were charged are Sunder Rangasamy, 27, and Thiagu Muniandy, 23. They are remanded at Central Police Division while further enquiries are made, and will be back in court next Tuesday.

If convicted of murder, they face the death penalty.

A police spokesman said: "The arrest of the suspects was made possible through the close collaboration between the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Royal Malaysia Police (RMP). The SPF would like to thank the RMP, in particular their Criminal Investigation Department and Johor State Police, for their strong and unequivocal support for this case."
