Two more arrested in connection with murder of Indian man at Pandan Loop

SINGAPORE - Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with the death of a 26-year-old technician at Pandan Loop, police said on Friday.

On Wednesday, Indian national Thiruppathi Veerapperumal, who is also 26, was the first to be charged with the murder of his fellow countryman, Murugaiya Suresh Kumar.

The victim was found lying motionless on the ground with injuries to his head and neck. He was an employee of Poly NDT which does testing and inspections of parts such as ship hulls.

Anyone convicted of murder faces the death penalty.
