A security officer was charged in court on Friday with corruptly getting "coffee money'' from a domestic worker in return for not taking further action against her for drinking water at an MRT station.

Kalaiarasan Muniandy was employed by Certis Cisco Protection Services when he allegedly got $10 cash from one "Hasna" at Paya Lebar MRT station, in exchange for not taking further action against her for drinking water on Jan 19 this year.
