SINGAPORE - The police have found the legs of the 59-year-old Pakistani national, whose dismembered body was found along Syed Alwi Road.

A police spokesman said in a statement on Thursday night that they have recovered the legs from the vicinity of Jalan Kubor, which is just off Victoria Street.

They had earlier in the day arrested two Pakistani nationals - aged 25 and 43, in connection with the grisly find, which has since been classified as a case of murder.

The two men were nabbed at about 3pm at a two-storey shophouse in Rowell Road, not far from where the body was first found stuffed in a suitcase. Investigations are ongoing, said a spokesman.

More than 100 officers, including those from the Criminal Investigation Department, Police Intelligence Department, and both the Central and Tanglin police divisions were involved in the operation.
