A 26-year-old man has been arrested for suspected involvement in a Woodlands robbery that occurred earlier this month.

The suspect allegedly snatched and ran away with a woman's mobile phone on May 3 at about 5.45 am. The theft took place as the 29-year-old victim was walking at a void deck along Woodlands St 13.

Through investigations by the Jurong Police Division and reviews of CCTV footage, the suspect's identity was established and he was arrested along Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim on Thursday afternoon.
