Man charged with aggravated molestation

SINGAPORE - A self-employed man was hauled to court on Friday for molesting and wrongfully restraining a woman.

Hsu Yisong, 24, is alleged to have put his arm around the neck of the 27-year-old Chinese national, lifted her T-shirt to grab her breast and tried to pull down her pants at the open air carpark on MacKenzie Road at about 3.30am on Jan 25 this year.

His lawyer Louis Joseph told the court he would be making representations.

If convicted, Hsu could be jailed for between two and 10 years and caned.
