The 33-year-old Malaysian man accused of trying to enter Singapore without a valid pass last month has been remanded for a week to complete investigations.

Mohd Sani Mohamad Salleh, who was produced in court on April 24, was found to be of sound mind by the Institute of Mental Health where he had been remanded for observation, a court heard on Wednesday.

The alleged offence occurred at about 10.45am on April 21.

He will return to court on May 12.
