HR issues are top concern among companies: SICC chief

SINGAPORE - Age discrimination, improving employee attitudes, and encouraging more top Singaporean talent to work abroad are some of the key concerns among Singapore companies.
The Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) hopes to tackle these human resource bugbears, said its new chief Victor Mills.
Mr Mills, who took over as acting chief executive in April, was speaking to the media on Thursday at a briefing to mark the launch of the chamber's new logo and corporate identity.
The image overhaul signals SICC's renewed focus on becoming more visible and initiating "thought leadership debates", in particular about manpower issues, said Mr Mills.
