TOKYO (AFP) - Japanese videogame giant Nintendo said Wednesday its April-December net profit soared six-fold to US$504 million (S$681.37 million) as a sharply weaker yen boosted its bottom line and offset slowing sales.
The firm also raised its annual net profit forecast to 30 billion yen up from an earlier 20 billion yen estimate, but the Super Mario creator trimmed sales and operating profit forecasts for the fiscal year ended March 31.
