Singapore shares end flat on Tuesday after weak Wall Street lead

SINGAPORE - Stock market punters continued to stick to the sidelines on Tuesday, with shares little moved for a second day and trading volume remaining thin.
The local benchmark Straits Times Index rose just 4.63 points, or 0.14 per cent, to close at 3,262.03.
A paltry 1.49 billion shares worth $561.1 million changed hands.
Innopac Holdings was the top active, rising 0.2 cents to 1.9 cents on a turnover of 116.5 million shares.
