Singapore shares end flat after Wall Street tumble

SINGAPORE - Singapore shares ended almost unchanged on Wednesday, amid a mixed day for Asian bourses after Wall Street took a tumble the night before.
The local benchmark Straits Times Index slipped just 3.69 points, or 0.11 per cent, to 3,261.78.
Some 1.15 billion shares worth $909.4 million changed hands.
HanKore Environment was the most actively traded stock, inching down 0.2 cents to 9.3 cents on a turnover of 43.5 million shares.
