HONG KONG (AFP) - Hong Kong shares climbed 0.59 per cent in the opening exchanges on Wednesday following another record close for the Dow and S&P 500 on Wall Street.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 132.11 points to 22,484.49 in the first few minutes of trade.
