SHANGHAI (AFP) - Chinese stocks were higher in morning trade Monday, helped by a record high in US stocks last week, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.54 per cent, or 10.93 points, to 2,022.07.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.61 per cent, or 6.18 points, to 1,023.87.
