China shares lower in morning trade on Tuesday

SHANGHAI (AFP) - Chinese shares were lower in morning trade Tuesday tracking overnight losses in US stocks, dealers said.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.20 per cent, or 4.17 points, to 2,055.76.

The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.23 percent, or 2.55 points, to 1,109.28.
