SHANGHAI (AFP) - Chinese shares were down slightly in morning trade Friday tracking overnight losses on Wall Street and hurt by worries over the domestic economy, dealers said.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.13 per cent, or 2.58 points, to 2,022.39.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.20 per cent, or 2.09 points, to 1,020.42.
