SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Singapore will report advance data on gross domestic product (GDP) for the second quarter on July 14, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said on Monday.

The second quarter advance GDP data will be issued at 8:00 am local time on July 14, the ministry said in a statement.

Singapore's year-on-year economic growth is seen likely to have slowed in the second quarter, with economists citing factors such as a comparison against a high base from a year earlier and a recent slowdown in manufacturing output.

In the first quarter, Singapore's GDP expanded by 4.9 per cent from a year earlier, while it grew 2.3 per cent from the previous quarter on a seasonally adjusted and annualised basis.
