SINGAPORE - Exports from Singapore continued their slide in July for the third straight month, trade agency IE Singapore said on Monday.

Non-oil domestic exports slid 3.3 per cent over the previous year, after falling 4.6 per cent in June and 6.6 per cent in May.

But July's dip was smaller than economists had predicted. A poll by Reuters had shown economists forecasting a 3.9 per cent decline.

Both electronic and non-electronic shipments decreased in July over the year before, IE Singapore said.
