Mainboard-listed defence group Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) announced new roles for some of its key management on Friday.

Mr Lee Fook Sun, currently president of ST Electronics and president of ST Engineering's defence business, will now also be deputy chief executive officer of ST Engineering.

"In this new position, he will explore additional synergies across the group's four business sectors," ST Engineering said in its statement to the Singapore Exchange.

Mr Vincent Chong Sy Feng, ST Aerospace's president of strategic plans and business development, will also take on the job of deputy CEO (corporate development) in which he will oversee the group's corporate functions.

Mr Lim Serh Ghee, currently ST Aerospace's chief operating officer and president of its defence business, will become president of ST Aerospace. The sector is currently overseen by Tan Pheng Hock, president and CEO of ST Engineering.

The appointments are effective Dec 1, 2014
