SINGAPORE - Media group Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) officially launched to advertisers on Thursday a new division that focuses exclusively on digital advertising.

SPH Digital. which began operations in February, manages the media group's 25 websites.

Such sites include the online and mobile editions of flagship newspaper The Straits Times and Chinese daily Lianhe Zaobao, as well as citizen journalism site Stomp and portals such as STProperty and STJobs.

Together, the websites have an audience of 23 million unique browsers and 360 million page views per month.

In a statement, SPH said the new division will support its other established media platforms including newspapers, magazines and radio stations to offer a "full suite" for brands to launch integrated marketing campaigns.

Mr Julian Tan, head of ST Digital, said that SPH Digital is "the most comprehensive yet targeted base" for marketers facing increasing challenges in reaching audiences.

"SPH is well poised to become the leading digital media player in the region, leveraging on the trust and respect our brands have built over the years," he added.

He was speaking at the division's launch on Thursday at Swissôtel The Stamford, which was attended by more than 500 advertisers.

Digital solutions such as SPH Razor, a local lifestyle video site that can collaborate with advertisers to run online video marketing campaigns, were also showcased.
