Vietnam detains 500 rioters after rampage by anti-China protesters

HANOI (AFP) - Vietnam has detained 500 rioters after anti-China unrest in which more than a dozen factories were set on fire, police said on Wednesday.

The people "were caught red-handed looting, stealing and setting fire to factories," Mr Le Xuan Truong of the Binh Duong provincial police department told AFP.
