Malaysia identifies more suspects allegedly involved in militant activities

JITRA (THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Police have identified more individuals in a number of states suspected of being involved in militant activities, said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar.
He said police would be conducting operations to nab the individuals involved.
"There are more (suspects)...we will make an announcement when we have arrested them," he said after the Workers' Day celebration at Dewan Wawasan here on Thursday.
It was reported that another woman with alleged links to a militant cell was arrested in Kuala Lumpur. The 55-year-old widow was detained in Keramat on Tuesday morning.
