Teachers learn to shoot after Peshawar school attack

(REUTERS) - Razia Begum is a Pakistani police constable.

She's explaining to this group of teachers how to handle a gun.

The government started this programme after Taleban militants broke into a school in Peshawar last month and killed more than 130 people, most of them students.

Police say a few students and security guards will also be trained and issued firearm licences.

Police has said institutions can contact them if they want arms training for their staff.

Though some have condemned the idea of guns in the classroom.
