LONDON (AFP) - Britain and China have signed trade deals worth over £14 billion (S$29.7 billion) during a visit by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, British Prime Minister David Cameron said on Tuesday.

"Today we have signed deals worth more than £14 billion," said Mr Cameron at a joint press conference in London.

Mr Li's visit aims to boost ties between Britain and China, which were strained when Mr Cameron met exiled Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama in 2012.

Earlier, Mr Li met Queen Elizabeth II at Windsor Castle.
