Missing Malaysia Airlines MH370 special report

PERTH - Planned air search activities have been suspended on Wednesday due to poor weather conditions in the search area for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

Current weather conditions are resulting in heavy seas and poor visibility, and are making air search activities ineffective and potentially hazardous, said Australia's Joint-Agency Coordination Centre (JACC).

The 12 ships involved in Wednesday's search will continue with their planned activities, said JACC.
